2023 Week 11 & 12 LoL FFL Post:

WEEK 11: Quick Recap by Naz

Naz v Parth

Unfortunately, Saquon and Gus Edwards had career days and were able to make easy work of myself to give Parth a much-needed win. My chances of passing him up decreased significantly. Another decent performance for myself, only to get outscored by a team putting up 100+ points.

ree

Ali v Colten

A low scoring affair between these two and a slight victory for Colten. A battle of QB’s with Herbert and Purdy scoring 25+ points, but the difference maker comes from Tyreek Hill putting up 25 points himself. A rare 1-point performance from AJ Brown let Ali down in this one.

ree

Rimmel v Ahsan

A sad performance from Ahsan’s team in this one was his downfall. Despite Garrett Wilson putting up negative points for Rimmel, he coasted to victory on the backs of his running game.

ree

Humza v Yas

The Detroit RBs came to play today. Helped by a Dallas defense putting up 23 points, Humza was able to easily take care of Yas. Bye weeks and injuries were detrimental this week for Yas, as he had JJ, Pierce, and Kyren Williams on the IR and Thomas and Moss on byes. You know it’s bad when you’re starting Chris Rodriguez in your lineup… WHO?!

ree

Sean v Kcos

Sean made a Swift error in starting Achane and could’ve won if he hadn’t. Sean is oddly loaded at RB and just made a calculating error to the benefit of Kcos, who will take all the wins in the regular season. A well-rounded performance despite the byes for Kcos and another win to secure his number 1 seed in the playoffs.

ree

Alex v Chris

Well, it’s hard to win when everything just clicks for the other team. Double digit performances all around. You know it’s a good week when your defense outscores your QB. Alex didn’t stand a chance. Chris coasts to the $10 this week.

WEEK 12: BROUGHT TO YOU BY KYRIACOS

General NazKenobi. Years ago you served my rival MaceGaydude, aka Chris, in the Clone Wars. Now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire of his own Faggotry. I regret that I am unable to present his homosexual request to you in person, but my ship has fallen under attack from his queer-army. I have placed information vital to the survival of HumZPO and Count Ashan into the memory systems of this R2 unit. You must see this droid is safely delivered to MaceGaydude on planet Consylacionbrakit. This is his most desperate hour. Help him, NazKenobi. You're his only hope of not being so damn gay.

NazKebobi vs Alikan Skywalker

I bring bad news, NazKenobi has been overcome by his very own pupil Alikan Skywalker. I’m sorry to say that Padawan Pacheco gave NazKenobi a lava-burning only fit for a Jedi in turmoil. It was a valiant effort by KyloMurray, but his midget-man-nipples weren’t enough to bring victory! Droid B7Robinson has officially joined the Galactic Empire this week, entering the lava, and violating the already burned to smithereens NazKenobi! However, it’s with a heavy heart that I report that Senator Thielen continues to undermine the trade federation - week after week! What a waste of a trade, as NazKenobi loses yet again! I look forward to his force ghost making us all laugh in a Denver-cantina-open-mic-night very soon!!!

ree

Count Ashan vs Colt Dameron

A battle hard to watch for all. Count Ahsan has become disillusioned by the Jedi Order and entrusted Admiral Chandler to win it all for him this week, yet he scored a putrid 1.6 points. Tisk tisk. Colonel Jeudy continues to be a chicken-shit embarrassment to his command squadron. It’s hard for any menacing Sith Lord to win when a rookie QB is your top scorer. However C-J Stroudious is the best rookie flight school graduate in recent memory, well since Dakus Prescottith got his wings! Great win for Colt Dameron! Keep flying high pal!!

ree

HumZPO vs The Rimmeldalorian

The Rimmeldalorian does it again! This man lives for close games. I have never rooted harder against a droid in my entire life — Being outmanned, down and out, he used the fuel of the death of his parents to enact Monday night revenge on his enemies — This protagonist has ZERO quit in his heart. Truly the gem and hero none of us deserve! His ragtag mercenary tribe was uplifted by two Justineon Fieldus fumbles, late in the contest! HumZPO started the year off so strong, but now falls to 7-5. Looking like a man with NO first round picks on his roster, instead of 3 in the top 5. What a joke! Can this droid be rebuilt to sustain a championship? Time will tell.

ree

Master Yassah vs ParthVader

Master Yassah used his telekinesis to mentally will Padmé Kyren to a 35 point performance on Sunday! Such a dagger that ParthVader couldn’t overcome the attack! BobaHurts did his part to aid in the resistance, but in the end the abysmal Jets offense claimed another victim. Fire Saleh yesterday!!!! Fortunate for everyone Master Yassah will die in the swamp before Episode VI so we good! However he now climbs to 6-6 and has a real playoff shot!

ree

Sean Solo vs AlexDaHutt

Sean Solo met up with his old friend AlexDaHutt. The total sum of money Sean Solo owed was too much to repay—The interest alone will bankrupt the man. As punishment for his crimes, AlexDaHutt sentenced Sean Solo and Chewpukanacua to death! Throwing them into the shadowy chamber beneath his Tatooine throne room! Will they manage to escape? Is Sean Solo going to outsmart the beast? Or is this the end for our smuggling scoundrel hero? Find out next time in the sequel ‘’Solo 2: The Depths Of Hell’’ —Spoiler Sean Solo is already dead! ParthVader killed him by keeping the WhatsApp receipts! Savage win for the DarkSide!!!!!

ree

DarthKcos vs MaceGaydude

MaceGaydude finds another way to be the completely gayest person to have ever roamed the galaxy. Everything he seems to touch turns into total RainbowBoi lunacy! I am so glad to have utterly destroyed this man’s playoff chances. Lick my ass and call me Leia you SOB! There is no coming back from here Mace! ITS OVER!! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha— My only wish to the heavens above, would be that this LilGayBoi existed a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.…

STANDINGS:

I would just like to point out there have only been 2 weeks this year that my opponent has scored under 100 points – those were my 2 wins this year… It’s just crazy how lopsided it is sometimes. 1400 points scored against me, while Kcos has had 1080 points scored against him. That’s a difference of 27 points/week, which is pretty significant. That could’ve been 3 more wins for me and kept me out of the last place game, but yet, here we are. Playing a pointless last 2 weeks now, just awaiting my opponent.

ree

The last place game and the two teams that will be ineligible for the league cup next year will be myself and either Parth, Ahsan, Chris, or Alex. More likely than not, it will be Parth or Ahsan, but there’s still a chance and a lot to play for there. In addition, Kcos has locked up the division and guaranteed himself to be promoted to the Champions division. Joining him will either be Humza, Rimmel, or Ali, all still fighting for that 2nd spot in the division to be promoted. On the flip side, the bottom 2 spots to be relegated are still up for grabs. Parth will likely end up there and then it will be between Ahsan, Alex, and Yaseer, so still much to play for there as well. Ahsan v Parth is this week btw! Something to keep a close eye, and will likely result in the loser playing myself in week 15.

ree

The fight for the playoffs looks like it will come down to the wire. With only 1 team clinching a playoff spot and only 3 teams officially eliminated, there are still 8 teams battling for 5 playoff spots. Alex and Chris will need a lot of help to make it in, but everyone else is fair game. That being said, we have some big games coming up this week: Humza (7-5) v Sean (7-5) & Rimmel (7-5) v Ali (7-5). And next week, we have: Yas (6-6) v Colten (7-5) & Rimmel (7-5) v Sean (7-5).
