BROUGHT TO YOU BY NAZ BECAUSE KYRIACOS HAS DONE HARD WORK ALL SEASON LONG!
Naz v Humza
The fruits of my labor came to fruition. It was destiny manifested the week before. Everything went according to plan. The waiver wire team took down the great behemoth and was ready to eliminate Humza from the playoffs, ruining all the planning and expectations of this year. Unfortunately, it was all for naught. The only other thing needed, a win by Yas, failed to occur. I put up my highest total of the year and 4th best this week to win a game that ended up being inconsequential. Humza backs slides into the playoffs, and my best game was not in Week 15 when I need it to be… What could’ve been the storybook ending will be just a footnote when it’s all said and done.
Yas v Colten
The game of the week. The 3rd lowest score this week happened to play the 2nd lowest score. Colten gets the easy victory on Monday night once Henry got all the TDs for the Titans and Tua couldn’t throw a TD to save his life. Injuries plagued Yas in this matchup with both his starting WRs going down early in the game, not to return. Hard to overcome those type of injuries and lack of QB play. Colten gets a huge victory, taking him from the brink of elimination and catapulting him to win the division and secure a bye week. The opposite for Yas. All things worked out in other games and what turned into a playoff game for him, win or be eliminated, he was unable to get it done.
Kcos v Ahsan
Is there really much to say here. Kcos benefited from another injury and got Zeke to be the starter, giving him another RB1. Ahsan didn’t stand a chance and goes down big, plunging him into the last place game against myself next week. Loser will need to prepare some jokes. Kcos had previously locked up the number 1 seed and will look towards week 16 for his next opponent.
Ali v Alex
In another potentially eliminating game, Ali showed up and showed out. But not sure if Alex even set his lineup with Gardner Minshew starting?! If you told me that Even Engram (with a hurt Trevor Lawrence) and Brandon Aubrey would combine for 50 points, I would’ve called you crazy, but that’s exactly what happened to the benefit of Ali’s team and playoff chances. Luckily for him, he did not have to worry about tiebreakers since Humza and Yas lost. Ali moves on and Alex now fights for the consolation prize.
Rimmel v Sean
In a battle for a division win or being promoted, it was dogfight until the end. It all came down to Monday night and who was going to get the ball for the Dolphins. Much to the dismay of Sean, the Dolphins did not hesitate in giving the rock to Mostert and not Achane. That 13-point difference for Rimmel was enough to secure him the victory by 9 points. Nick Folk couldn’t kick Sean out of the L this week. Sean, with the loss and Colten’s win, loses the division and now has to play next week. A big blow! Rimmel, improves his record and separates himself into the top 2 of the relegated division, promoting him next year to the Champions division.
Chris v Parth
In the most inconsequential game of the week since Ahsan lost, both teams will be in the consolation bracket next week fighting for the consolation championship in week 16. Chris puts up a big score and gets him another $10, while Parth remains in the bottom two of the Champions division and will be relegated along with Ahsan next year. Alex, Chris, Parth, and Yas will now battle it out for a little extra money the next 2 weeks.
