KYRIACOS IS ON A BYE THIS WEEK
As I sit here waiting for my flight to get to Kansas City to see Kyriacos and watch the much-anticipated Chiefs-Cowboys game, I feel as if I’m doing someone else’s job at 2:30 AM… Nevertheless, how did I end up sitting at the Austin airport writing this post? It is the result of a myriad of things that led to this, just like the results this week were. There are several different worlds where things could have gone much differently, so this week we will look at differing results and a vast number of possibilities of what could be, while we ponder the question, “What If?”

I’m pretty tired here, having only slept a total of 8 hours the past 2 days, so bear with me, cause I’m pretty sure what I just wrote makes no sense and I have no will to proofread any of this after writing it. Dang, that was a run-on sentence, wasn’t it? Anyway, I digress.
Captain Colten v Nazal Romanoff
In this universe, Captain Rodgers did not take the super serum, instead another soldier swooped in and took the serum, Captain Colten. Not knowing that his intensions were evil in nature, Captain Colten imbedded himself with the most influential core of receivers he could find within SHIELD. He went through the missions, taking the most courageous routes to score as many touchdowns as possible. Unfortunately, he did fill his squad with anyone to assist him in moving forwards. On the flip side, the super-secret Black Widows were not women in this universe, but instead a group of elite men, known as the Black Panthers. This version of the universe did not have Natasha Romanoff, but instead had Nazal Romanoff. Even though Captain Colten had tricked everyone into his trust, Nazal Romanoff was not convinced and led a covert mission to expose Captain Colten and his mischievous ways. He showed Captain Colten what a real elite team looks like, not led by Fat Randy and his 3rd most points. Nazal Romanoff easily defeated Captain Colten to secure the division lead.

Yasdu v Rocket Rimmel
In this universe, Yondu, the Revenger, was known as Yasdu. A slightly different version, being a lot more vicious in nature. In his travels across the galaxy, he encountered, not Rocket Raccoon, but Rocket Rimmel. Not knowing that he could talk, Yasdu took Rocket Rimmel with him as the pet Rabbit he was: unharmful, friendly, non-competitive. They ravaged the universe together until, Yasdu realized that Rocket Rimmel was not has friendly as he thought. He unleashed his goon squad on Rocket Rimmel and obliterated from existence. Rocket Rimmel failed to take off. Once that was complete, Yasdu sent his white boys (Kupp/Kittle) out to dance on his dead body a whole day later. A shameful disgrace as the highest scoring team beat the lowest scoring team with a margin of over 70 points.

SIDE NOTE:
With 2 players left each on Monday night, Naz had 110.2 points and Yas had 106.2 points. Yas had Kittle and Kupp while Naz had Stafford and Mitchell. A completely wasted effort by Stafford was the downfall of me losing the $10 this week. My players scored a combined 18.8 points, while Yas’ scored 31.2 points. Just terrible. I blame OBJ. Let’s not mention the fact that 3 of my picks in the top 45 are done for the year… FUN!
Alright, I’m tired, and this is taking too long, MCU is done for now. This post was not built into my schedule for tonight, need to finish up quick. Kcos lost to Humza, 3 close victories determined by kickers. Done! Thanks!
JK… I’ll write a bit more. I do really want to get into all the possibilities of the close games plus the impact of kickers, but I’ll leave that for the end of year post. I also want to address the playoff possibilities going into these last few weeks, but with 4 weeks left, a lot can still happen. I’ll try to write about next week when there’s 3 games left and all divisional games. So much can change. Although I haven’t fact-checked ESPN, they’re saying Kyriacos and Yaseer have locked up playoff spots and no one has been eliminated from playoff contention yet. Anyways, back to this week.

Kcos v Humza
Humza did not have to worry about his bench outperforming his starters this week since most of it was on bye or IR… made the decisions super easy. That being said, a huge performance from 49ers defense over Robbie Gould on Monday night to secure the win for Humza. The return of CMC to the lineup and Dak returning to elite number status helped secure the win despite a combined 27.8 points from his other 5 positional players. Injuries to Kamara and Henry have derailed Kyriacos’ win streak and has lost his first game since week 1. Huge win for Humza to get back in the picture, only 2 games out of a playoff spot with 4 games left.

Ahsan v Ali
Battle of the brothers in a game to be forgotten forever. I mean 79-73, really?! Ahsan overcomes a -5-point effort from the Cleveland defense to win the game, but just tragedy all over the place for Ali. Aaron Jones goes out and AJ Dillon racks up all the points on Ali’s bench. Russell Wilson coming off an injury in a game in the snow against a Packers defense that has been playing well was a tough choice with Jalen Hurts on the bench, who could’ve secured the win. Boston Scott outperforming Darrel Henderson? Who would’ve thought. Nevertheless, Ahsan somehow has pulled some black magic here. Not only has he not lost since making trades, Ali has not won… Since WEEK 4! Not to mention, whatever he did here to take out Aaron Jones and Amari Cooper, whom he traded both to Ali, for the upcoming games this weekend. There is some weird stuff going on here, I’m staying way far out of it. I want no part… Good luck to Rimmel this week. Maybe he can unretire Calvin Ridley for you somehow?
Can't blow a lead to the Patriots if you never have one in the first place

Chris v Sean
Per Kcos’ request, f*** Chris; Sean is gayer? Not much to say here, y’all know what happened. A -7-point effort from Sean’s defense. Chris’ kicker is Gay and couldn’t score more than 4 points, even though he hasn’t scored less than 8 points all season. The Rams faked a FG that would’ve won Chris the game. Such tragedy and gayness all around. Run from it, hide from it, Gayness arrives all the same.

Parth v Alex
No QB for Alex, no problem. Cowboys’ defense on the bench for Alex with 22 points, no problem. No RB depth for Alex, no problem. No Kamara active, perfect for Alex. Prime Mark Ingram is back. Also, DEEBO to the rescue, putting up 27.8 points on Monday night against the Rams to win the game. Somehow still surviving with injuries to CEH and Montgomery for multiple weeks on end. Parth’s RB committee put up a solid effort, but a 0-point performance for Gisecki along with poor WR-production was killer this week.
Since 28-3, Falcons have been outscored 79-7 by the Patriots

NOTES
· There is now a 3-way tie for 1st place in the Young Guns division
· Yas and Kcos have locked up playoff spots
· Colten has the lowest chance of making the playoffs at 1%
· 5-5 is a playoff spot, anyone still want to take bets on me going 7-7 this year?
· Chris has the least number of points scored on him by about 100 points on the season
· Chris is 5-0 at home and 1-4 on the road??? He’s at home this week…
· Yaseer has only played 3 home games out of the 10? Not fair, he’s also 3-0 at home
· Yaseer and Kyriacos have scored over 1200 points on the season, meanwhile, Ahsan, Rimmel, and Colten are all sub-1000 points
· 8/12 teams in the league are at 5-5 or within 1 game of 5-5
