2022 Week 14 LoL FFL Post:

BROUGHT TO YOU BY NAZIM AGAIN - APOLOGIES

Sorry about y’all having to read my writing again. Kyriacos has once again failed to carry out his duties as appointed by the high table. I have no witty remarks to make and no satirical writing in me as I have been ex-communicated from the league. The bounty has been placed upon my head and the league members come seeking their reward. Even though I pulled out all the stops to avoid my assassination, I was unsuccessful in delaying the inevitable - I have once again finished 7-7. Run from it, hide from it, destiny arrives all the same. Now, we’ve entered the endgame - the playoffs. For myself, I will be in this endgame until 2024, since I have no picks next year until the 9th round. Sharing my pain is Chris and Humza, who lose out on better picks next year with my failure to make the playoffs and win a championship. We are all losers this year. But will Humza be the ultimate loser after this week? Or will Ali save him from falling to last place in the league 2 years in a row? Maybe we have found our new “Yaseer” of the league.

Since Kyriacos brought it up, I’d like to address it - I’m the only one to lose to Humza and Ali both. 1 of each of their 2 wins for the season were against me - both of these wins were their highest scoring games of the season and the only time they broke 100+ points (both of their wins) - the definition of bad luck… I mean the average across the league on any given week this year is 101 points, which is basically 100. Over 14 weeks, my opponents only scored below 100 points, FOUR times! Of course, I won all of those, but come on… To put that in perspective, Alex’s opponents over 14 weeks scored below 100 points, NINE times. If I had Alex’s schedule, I would’ve ended up 9-5, instead of 7-7. It’s just so unfortunate man. But I digress. On to what was a pointless week of games… although this will probably be the final post until after the season is over unless Kyriacos wants to write more again…

Naz v Humza

Another pointless week of Humza playing - not even bothering to set his lineup and take out Lamar Jackson - he deserves last place… moving on.

ree

Yas v Colten

What seemed like a crucial game to end the season, ended up being a pointless rivalry match. Yas squeaked out a close win to give him a better seed and putting him up against Sean in the playoffs. Colten takes the L and will face Ahsan in the playoffs.

ree

Kcos v Ahsan

Ahsan cursives into the playoffs with an easy win but unfortunately cannot capture the division as Parth gets an easy win as well. We’ll see if that match last week plays a big part in what happens going forward.

ree

Ali v Alex

Ali puts up a formidable effort against Alex, but Alex puts up another big day on the back of EVAN ENGRAM?!? Somehow Alex picked the right TE to play on a flyer and ends up with a huge day propelling him to victory and the most points this week.

ree

Rimmel v Sean

Kyler Murray goes down and Sean pays the price this week and going forward. Without him and Walker, Rimmel coasted to victory. Not that either result meant anything, but Sean took some huge hits going into the playoffs and will have to pray for a miracle now to beat Yas in the playoffs.

ree

Chris v Parth

A JERRY JEUDY EXPLOSION?! His highest output for the season by far allowed for Parth to easily win against Chris. Parth will take his bye week and Chris will have another match against Kyriacos next week. Let the trash taking begin!
