BROUGHT TO YOU BY NAZIM
Kyriacos has once again failed me, just as he has done multiple times this year not winning games… ☹ I expect so much more for not having a pick until #69. You had the best position. It was meant for feasting on the league. Oh how no one was pleased with your performance. And because you called me to make sure I added this, in Kyriacos’s words, “F ChRiS, yOu LiL gAi BoI”.
I apologize once again for the disappointment Kyriacos has laid upon on us and my lack of skills to deliver the metaphors, memes, and insults that he is able to deliver. But nonetheless, on to the games. Sorry, this will be another short one. I was on vacation this week and said I wouldn’t work on anything at all for the first time in I don’t even know how long, so this post is coming late and real short. Deal with it.

Yas v Naz
O, brother where art thou? Tua healthy for Hill. Check. Tony Pollard without Zeke. Check. Wentz out and scary Terry reborn. Check. Pierce stolen from me in the draft. Check. Henry with 5000 carries because Tannehill is out. Check. What an unfortunate set of circumstances… Why do I have to face the wrath of the Brown Carr when I was able to put up my highest point total of the season thus far and the 2nd highest this week. It did not matter; Yas was able to put up his highest point total of the season thus far as well. An unfortunate result, nonetheless, but I guess this is retribution from the gods for getting a win with 73 points in week 2. A tough schedule lies ahead for me having to play Ahsan, Colten, and Parth in the next 3 weeks with another game against Alex at the end of the season. It will be a tough stretch down the road in a tight playoff race. Yas has an easier road the rest of the way playing Ali, Humza, and Kcos in 3 of the final 6 weeks of the regular season. I am now 5-3 and Yas is now 4-4 in a race where 8 of the 12 teams are 5-3 or 4-4. What an end to the season we are about to have. So many storylines and possible outcomes as we approach the final few weeks. Exciting times.

Colten v Sean
The resurgence of CMC was not enough to overtake the ridiculous outpouring of points from AJ Brown. In a game where Chubb needed to be limited to less than 14 points, the Bengals were unsuccessful in accomplishing that and winning a game. Chubb went off for 24 points and secured Sean the easy win. An unfortunate injury to Mark Andrews was likely the pin of Colten’s demise as his replacement went on to get 6 catches and a TD. Enough points to secure the win but it did not go that way. Colten remains in a tight division race while Sean keeps steady in a playoff position, both now 5-3.

Ahsan v Alex
A tight finish to continue Alex’s run at the top of the league. With now a 3-game lead in the division and only 6 weeks left, it seems unlikely that it will fall out of his hands. Ahsan was not so lucky, as his opportunity to grab the division lead went awry. Losses by Ahsan and Colten move them both to 5-3 still tied for the division lead, but only 1 game ahead of the rest of the division. A valiant effort from Aaron Jones and Romeo Dobbs to push for the victory fell just short of accomplishing the mission. Is it time to drop the Bucc’s defense? Averaging 4.3 points per week over the last 6 weeks. Might me time to make a move there.

Kcos v Ali
Blah blah blah. They’re both 1-7 now. Cool.

Chris v Rimmel
The revelation of DJ Moore and his last second TD was enough to carry Chris to victory assisted by another dominant performance from Etienne. I love the failure of Kareem Hunt to be relevant and his inability to score 13 points and lead Rimmel to victory. Both are now 4-4, both loaded with picks in the future and a shot at the playoffs. We’ll see if either of these teams can make it there and end their season on a positive note.

Parth v Humza
Humza, why???? Bench Pitts for Hurst. So sad, it would’ve been enough to secure an unlikely win and would’ve been huge for him to not be in the last place game. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The trade with Parth would’ve ended up perfectly. Giving him less points for the RB and TE he traded for and giving him an L that same week. Would’ve been bittersweet. But the decision to not play Pitts costs Humza that opportunity. Humza remains 1 game out of ending up in the last place game and Parth can join the playoff run at 4-4. Quite unfortunate for the rest of us except Kcos and Ali.
